Backcountry Trout Basic’s.

This is my bread and butter fishing, the rivers and streams that I grew up on - fishing in my second home!

Fishing the braided rivers, gorges and spring creeks of the Canterbury backcountry. 5 days, 4 nights, farm style accommodation. Airport to airport, or add on to your New Zealand holiday, all inclusive of guide, access and concession fee’s, all meals, accommodation, licensed 4WD transport, waders and tackle if required.

Central South Island Explorer

This is a travelling fishing adventure, searching out the best trout fishing destinations throughout the greater Canterbury or West Coast area’s.

Fishing the braided rivers and spring creeks of the South Islands eastern side, or the bush clad rivers and streams of the West Coast.7 days, 6 nights, Lodge, motel or hotel style accommodation. Airport to airport all inclusive of guide, access and concession fee’s, all meals, accommodation, licensed 4WD transport, waders and tackle if required.

Big River Helifishing Adventure.

A full on, week long sight fishing adventure utilising a helicopter to access some remote watersheds

Accommodation will usually be in backcountry huts and fishing for both browns and rainbows.7 days, 6 nights, airport to airport, all inclusive of guide, concession fee’s, all meals, accommodation, transport by licensed 4WD and CAA licensed helicopter operators, waders and tackle if required. Some hunting opportunities available on theses trips.

Backcountry Explorer.

A full on fishing adventure targeting trophy trout and remote locations.

This is a fishing adventure for the devoted fly fisher, often travelling over rough 4WD tracks, with plenty of walking to access some of the more remote headwaters fishing available on both the East and West Coast. The weather will dictate on which side of the divide we fish and the focus will be on large remote fish - quality, not quantity. Accommodation may very well be a tent camp where we finish fishing or some remote motel or pub way in the backcountry. This is not a trip for the faint hearted, but rest assured you will see parts of NZ that are seldom visited by tourist’s. 6 days, 5 nights, airport to airport, all inclusive of guide, access and concession fee’s, all meals, accommodation, licensed 4WD transport, waders and tackle if required.
